If there is too little ventilation, the CO2 content and the humidity in the room air increase and the oxygen content decreases. As a result, occupants may experience fatigue more quickly. There is also a risk that an increased amount of humidity can cause mold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The required air exchange can be carried out manually by opening windows and doors or automatically by a ventilation system. The Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning systems (HVAC) at the Environmental Campus supply, among others, the lecture rooms with fresh air and passively cool room temperatures during summer. In addition, the CO2 concentration is controlled and reduced if necessary.
